He is currently associate dean of his law faculty. He&nbsp;held a EU Marie Curie chair (2004-06) and a Jean Monnet chair (2010-14) and was Distinguished International Visiting Professor at the University of Canberra (2017-18). He has been a visiting professor at a number of law schools in Europe, Africa,South America, Australia, and Asia.&nbsp; De Sadeleer has written over three hundred law articles and chapters, as well as twelve books. His major works include <em>Environmental Principles<\/em>&nbsp;(OUP, 2002) and&nbsp;<em>EU Environmental Law and the Internal Market<\/em>&nbsp;(OUP, 2014). Being based in Brussels, he plays an active part in debates on EU legal and institutional issues. This scholarly and comprehensive work not only identifies and addresses these issues at the heart of the EU, but also proposes solutions both legal and practical.
